I am a book-loving designer with a passion for all things print. My long career in design started first with a deep love of reading and a fascination with the visual arts. So, I am not surprised at all that I have landed in a place where stories and design come together — book design.

 

In the last 15 years as a graphic designer, I have collaborated with both publishing houses and independent authors. I have enjoyed every moment of designing over 200 books across a variety of genres — from fiction and fantasy novels to nonfiction, memoirs, history, art, true crime, self-help, cookbook, craft and children’s books. There is not a single book I feel uncomfortable immersing myself in to bring the authors unique vision to life.

 

While technically some may call me a multi-disciplinary designer, my heart truly does belong to print. I believe that every book has its own voice and so I really focus on creating designs that reflect and elevate each story. Whether that’s a cover that grabs attention or a layout that invites readers in, my goal is always to create something both beautiful and bespoke.
